Senior Thesis Title: The Importance of Moderation
Senior Thesis Statement: As Christians, we should pursue moderation in our lives by recognizing the emptiness of material gain, our call to contentment for our gifts, as well as the world’s need to see the benefits of not going too extreme in one area of your life.
Brief Description of Senior Thesis: In ancient society from Greece to Egypt, the value of moderation was seen as a key virtue that should lie in the heart of every man. However, in our consumer culture of today in which we are always seeking more and more, we never stop to appreciate the blessings that God has given us. Therefore, we as a society should seek the mean of extremes in nearly every area of life in hopes of bettering ourselves and our community.
