Senior Thesis Title: Navigating the Ethos of Consumerism
Senior Thesis Statement: Regulation of the things we consume is important because consumer culture capitalizes on our transient appetites, skews our views of truth, goodness, and beauty, and draws us away from God.
Brief Description of Senior Thesis: Modern consumerism is used as a substitute for important things, like religion, in the lives of many. The rise of mass consumption of media and materialistic goods paired with the accessibility of information and technology has denigrated humans to only care for consumable commodities. It is important to recognize this and regulate the things we intake, in order to draw closer to God and authentic truth, goodness, and beauty.
Post Graduation Plans: To study architecture at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville

Sarah, you are spot on in your thesis. So many things everything is so important, but it the everlasting life with God we should be striving for. You are beautiful inside and out and wise beyond your years.
