Senior Thesis Title: Waking Up to Conscious Christianity
Senior Thesis Statement:
Christians have the responsibility of pursuing personal consciousness in a culture of mindless passions. Therefore, we must radically change our lifestyle and thought processes to renew our minds.
Brief Description of Senior Thesis:
Modern culture tempts us with more distractions than ever. Technology, consumerism, and ceaseless busyness have caused us to become “unconscious” and mindless. As Christians, we are called to “renew our minds” “so that we will be able to test what God’s will is”. Therefore, we must transform our lifestyle and thoughts. In order to overcome modern unconsciousness, we must reform our relationship with technology and health, and implement new habits that will help us to move forward consciously.
Post Graduation Plans:
To study architecture at University of Tennessee in Knoxville
What advice or encouragement would you give to younger students at Westminster?
Drink water, breath, and pray.
Favorite Bible Verse:
“This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breathh in you, and you will come to life. Then you Will know that I am the Lord” (Ezekiel 37:5-6).
Prayer Request:
That I would continuously find my grounding in Christ, and not neglect what I have learned at Westminster, in my time at college. Also for Sam while I am away, that he would be encouraged as the last sibling in our house.
