This week, we would like to introduce our new 3rd Grade teacher, Georgianne Daws. She will be taking the place of Mrs. Callison, who is retiring after years of pouring into the Westminster student body. 

Mrs. Daws comes to Westminster Academy after taking a few years off of teaching. She is the cousin of Upper School Literature teacher Mrs. Stubblefield, and she has four grown children with her husband of 31 years, Russell.

Originally from Memphis, Mrs. Daws attended the University of Memphis, where she studied Elementary Education, and she is excited to bring her years of teaching experience to the Westminster community.
“I am excited about the new relationships I will form with students, parents, and faculty!” she said. “I am also excited about the classical curriculum.” 

Mrs. Daws attends Harvest Church with several Westminster families, and in her free time, she enjoys painting. Please help us welcome her to the hallways when you see her this fall!
