Each Friday third graders have a chance to earn “Fun Time Friday,” where they have the chance to learn through play. Students learn strategy and improve spatial reasoning through chess and mancala. They express themselves creatively with original art. By building ancient structures such as arches, the Parthenon, or the Coliseum, they learn problem solving and perseverance.
