Senior Thesis Title: Behind Closed Doors: The Lasting Effects of Childhood Trauma
Senior Thesis Statement: A limited or broken family dynamic caused by circumstances such as divorce, abuse, or mental illness can astronomically alter a child’s future.
Brief Description of Senior Thesis: My senior thesis focuses on the psychological effects that childhood trauma can have on a child, while also focusing on how the developmental stages of children can inhibit their susceptibility to these kinds of traumatic experiences.
Post Graduation Plans: To attend the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and study either nutrition sciences or psychology.
Favorite Bible Verse: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)
Prayer Request: Please ask God that once I leave for college my sisters will have the best school years and know that I love them so much. And that college will be a fun and rewarding experience that will bring me closer to the Lord.
