Senior Thesis Title: Parenting in the Age of Digital Technology
Brief Description of Senior Thesis: Aren’t you tired of being surrounded by children mindlessly enslaved to their screens? This is the issue I seek to expound upon in my senior thesis by showing the destructive effects of technology on young children and the underlying responsibility of their parents for its effects.
College Choice OR How you plan to spend next year? To attend a nine month Christian leadership program, called Impact 360 Fellows, with experimental learning, international travel, and leadership training.
Intended Major or field of work after Westminster: Elementary education or children’s counseling
What advice or encouragement would you give to younger students at Westminster? Don’t be afraid to go to your teachers for help. They’re there to help and support you and care more about your well-being and character than the grade on your paper.
Please share a funny memory or highlight from your time at Westminster:
In 8th grade, Sullivan Baker broke my nose with his shoulder in PE class while playing dodge-ball. The whistle blew and we sprinted for the same ball, we collided, and the rest is history.
Favorite Bible Verse: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13).
Prayer Request: That I would have wisdom and clarity in my decision of where to attend college after my gap year program.
