Mrs. Hickman and Mrs. Dougherty’s fifth graders were issued a challenge at the beginning of the school year. They were told if they memorized all fifth grade history timeline cards and dates, they would be awarded the prestigious title of “Memory Master.” Memory Masters must recite all thirty-two history cards from “Prince Henry the Navigator: 1394-1460” to “The Missouri Compromise: 1820.” The students who successfully recited all cards and achieved the title of “Memory Master” are as follows: Reid Gentry, Jack Rhodes, Timothy Gregory, Nathaniel Chambers, Eden Rainer, and Lily Teague.
