One of our upper school teachers, Faith Shaunak, who teaches history and rhetoric, was invited by the Bill of Rights Institute to participate in an upcoming event that will take place March 11-13, 2016 – “Slavery and the Constitutional Republic” –  in Arlington, VA. This colloquium will focus on the debate about the Founders’ protection of the institution of slavery in the Constitution and includes teachers and professors from around the country. It is sponsored by The Bill of Rights Institute and the Liberty Fund.
