Senior Thesis Statement:  Currently, America has a commitment problem. Instead of committing to things like family and friends, we commit to our jobs and money.

Brief Description of Senior Thesis: We have a commitment problem.  It is not that people don’t commit to anything, but that people commit to the wrong things.  To properly address the issue there are four key questions that must be asked in order to truly understand what we are facing in American and Western society.  Why do we have this issue?  How do we commit to the wrong things?  What effect does this have on people as individuals and society as a whole?  How do we fix the problem?
