The High School Choir has been diligently working on a  few selections from Handel’s Messiah, which will be presented for our Christmas concert, Dec. 10.   In addition, the night will be filled with beautiful voices ranging from Junior Kindergarten to Sixth grade performing famous Christmas carols celebrating the night of Jesus’s birth.

Eleven of our WA choir students performed recently in the All Southwest TN Honor Choir at Bellevue Baptist Church.  The Junior High Choir was directed by Dr. Julie Yu from Kansas State University.  The High School Choir was directed by Dr. Andre Thomas, from Florida State University.  It was an amazing concert!

The 4^th-8^th grade choir is preparing to attend a Heritage Festival in St. Louis next spring.  They will perform three choral anthems and be adjudicated.  One of the judges will work with the choir following their performance.  This is a wonderful learning opportunity for our students.  We look forward to an exciting trip in April.
