Our JK students have been working hard this past quarter to understand how color works. They have learned, with the help of three naughty mice in the story Mouse Paint, the three primary colors and how they interact to create the secondary colors. They have worked with paints themselves and seen how blue and yellow create green. Continuing their study of colors, they investigated Piet Mondrian and imitated his unique style. Learning through story and hands-on investigation is such fun!
