4th graders prepared a presentation on their chosen aspect of barbarian or Viking culture by researching and collecting information, deciding the best format for the presentation, and creating posters and models of Viking ships, the runic alphabet, Viking houses, barbarian food, a comparison of the Huns and the Vikings, Viking clothing, and Norse mythology. Each student presented his research to his classmates and their parents. Can you imagine what they will be like as seniors giving their rhetoric speeches when they can already present with such composure and engagement?
