FOR ALL KINDERGARTEN, 7TH GRADE, AND NEW STUDENTS:
We are required by the state of Tennessee to collect immunization records that show all of the required immunizations for every child. The form needs to be the official Certificate of Immunization form issued by the TN Department of Health. Additionally, please bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate to the office. If you have not given the Main Office the copy of this form for each enrolled child, please do so on or before Meet the Teacher Day on August 12.

Monday, August 12, 2nd – 6th grade students only:
9:00 a.m.: New families & their students meet their teacher in the classroom(s)
10:00 a.m.: New students are invited to our Back to School Bash in the gym. New parents attend orientation with Debbie Frazier
10:00 a.m.: Returning 2nd-6th grade students begin visiting their classrooms according to the schedule below.
· A-F 10-10:30
· G-L 10:30-11
· M-R 11:00-11:30
· S-Z 11:30-12
All students in JK, K, and 1st grade have a staggered start to the week. Your child’s teacher will be in touch with that schedule. You will not attend Meet the Teacher Day as you will receive all information needed on your staggered start day. You are invited to the Back to School Bash from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., but please plan to stay with your child.
Parents, please make other arrangements for your preschool age children to enable you to focus on your students.
We understand that students may want to see their previous teachers, but this is not a good day for visiting or wandering around as all teachers will be busy with their new students and parents. GS students should either be with parents or in the gym at the Back to School Bash.
