Early Childhood

Our junior kindergarten is intended as a transition program for those children who are not yet developmentally ready for kindergarten. They may have a late birthday or may benefit from another year for social, emotional, intellectual, or physical growth. At this time, we ARE accepting applications from any student who will be 4 by June 1, 2017. Kindergarten applicants must be 5 by June 1. 

Junior Kindergarten

  • Complete & return application with $75 application fee
  • Attend a Jump into JK on one of these dates:
    • December 3
    • January 28
    • February 11
    • April 29
  • Financial aid is not currently available for our junior kindergarten applicants
  • Parents interview with Head of School

Kindergarten & 1st Grade

  • Complete & return application with $75 application fee
  • Return the Parent Gesell Questionnaire and the Teacher Gesell Questionnaire
  • Attend a Gesell Developmental Observation (1 hour visit)
  • Complete an application for financial aid (if necessary)
  • Parents interview with the Head of School
  • 1st grade students will spend a morning in our current kindergarten class

JK-1st grade are half-day (8:00a.m.-12:00p.m.) academic programs and have an extended enrichment day option available for an additional fee.

  • A copy of the following records must be submitted to the Admissions Office:
  • Applicants will be contacted to schedule a shadow day & evaluation (if ISEE has not been taken)
  • Complete an application for financial aid (if necessary)
  • Parents interview with the Head of School
