What advice or encouragement would you give to younger students at Westminster? Just keep going. Small steps, perseverance. Homework can be hard but it is not impossible. Do not let one bad grade define you.
A funny memory or highlight from your time at Westminster: When I was in ninth grade, my seventh period study hall class begged Mrs. Read to take us to Baskin Robbins. She agreed if we could convince Dr. Callis. In true classical fashion, we then wrote a poem expressing our extreme desire to go to Baskin Robbins. Dr. Callis agreed! So our class ended up taking a highly-celebrated study hall field trip to Chick-Fil-A because Baskin Robbins was closed that day.
Senior Thesis Title: The Creation Conundrum: The Return to Better Physical, Mental, and Spiritual Health
Senior Thesis Statement: Creation benefits mankind physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Brief Description of Senior Thesis: Overwhelming evidence supports the fact that mankind is designed to live in nature. The current world and technology has turned people away from their roots to embrace the unnatural. Nature has a strong power to boost health both physically and spiritually. God has given us creation with a purpose, and through it we can see Him. Even though the world distracts us with rapid pacing, convenient comfort, and new science, we must remember that the world was crafted by a Creator who wants us to experience His creation.
