Senior Thesis Title:  Our Brains are Cooked

Senior Thesis Statement:  The imbalance we feel when we are bored is manufactured, and to find balance and peace, we must be more vigilant than ever in valuing our time and sorting what is good and worthy of our attention, and what is not.

Brief Description of Senior Thesis:  Is boredom naturally uncomfortable or are we conditioned to loathe it? Boredom is naturally uncomfortable, and we should naturally seek to avoid it. But, If we develop the stigma that stagnant time is the worst possible outcome, we fall prey to harmful pleasure and exploitation. We must understand that boredom is naturally uncomfortable, yet necessary, that it is being eradicated, and thus hinders us from pursuing things worth our time.
