What advice or encouragement would you give to younger students at Westminster? What I wish I had recognized earlier in high school is that the God we worship is not an efficient God. He is loving, good, and willing to put in the time to shape and grow you.
Please share a funny memory or highlight from your time at Westminster: Watching Boniface house members fight over the last spot in Do You Love Your Neighbor
Senior Thesis Title: The Beauty Problem
Senior Thesis Statement: Our perception of beauty in ourselves and others is distorted.
Brief Description of Senior Thesis: My thesis explores how outward influences from society and the inward influences of our sinful hearts warp our perception of beauty. After bringing awareness to the subject, I explore how education, community, and a personal relationship with God helps us reshape our views.
Post Graduation Plans: To attend Auburn University
Favorite Bible Verse: “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!” (Romans 5:8,10)
Prayer Request: That I might find a strong community to become a part of and create lifelong friendships that reflect the glory of God.
