What advice or encouragement would you give to younger students at Westminster? Be involved as much as you can because this is such a unique school experience, and you will get more out of it if you take advantage of the opportunities you are given here.
Please share a funny memory or highlight from your time at Westminster: Qualifying for state in cross country each year, especially the years when I was able to go with my sister.
Senior Thesis Title: Who is Influencing You?
Senior Thesis Statement: Some influences in our society have altered the Biblical view of the human body by creating an unhealthy way for people to maintain their bodies, view their bodies, and fuel their bodies.
Brief Description of Senior Thesis: My thesis argues that prevalent influences in our society have begun to reshape how people view themselves and treat themselves. Everyone is looking for what looks the best and what it takes to be popular, instead of looking to the Bible and God’s word to tell them how to live their lives. I explain how people can look at maintaining, viewing, and fueling themselves from a Biblical perspective.
Post Graduation Plans: To attend Samford University and study human development and family sciences to become a child life specialist.
Favorite Bible Verse: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)
Prayer Request: For a smooth transition into a new city and school, and for God’s provision in my life.
